Clean Air, Protected Equipment
Compressed Air Filters
Unfiltered compressed air carries dirt, water, oil aerosols, and vapors that damage downstream equipment, contaminate products, and shorten the life of every component in your system. Air Components supplies and services the full Kaeser filter range, sized and configured to meet every ISO 8573-1 air quality class your operation calls for.
Why Filtration Matters
Even a well-maintained compressor produces air loaded with contaminants. Without the right filter stages in place, that air can cause:
Pitting and corrosion in valves, cylinders, and pneumatic tools
Product contamination in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and medical device manufacturing
Paint defects and finish failures in automotive and furniture applications
Clogged filters and shortened life on instrument-grade equipment
Failed audits and ISO 8573-1 non-compliance
Energy losses from high pressure drop across worn-out filter elements
Choose Your Filter
Liquid Separators
Key Specs
The first stage of most treatment trains. Centrifugal separators use mechanical action to spin out bulk water, oil, and large particles before air reaches downstream filters and dryers, extending the life of every component that follows.
- Removes bulk liquids without filter media to replace
- Available from 20 to 21,250 scfm
- Low pressure drop, no consumable elements
Applications
- Pre-filtration ahead of refrigerated and desiccant dryers
- High-moisture environments and outdoor compressor installations
- Any system with after-cooler condensate that needs to be removed
Particulate Filters
Key Specs
General-purpose dust and solids filtration. Particulate filters use deep-pleated media wrapped in stainless steel cages to capture rust, scale, pipe dirt, and other solid particles down to one micron. The standard middle stage in most treatment trains.
- Particle removal down to 1 micron
- Validated per ISO 12500 with up to 50% lower pressure drop than industry standard
- Bayonet-lock housings for fast, error-free element changes
Applications
- General manufacturing and machine shops
- After-filtration following heated desiccant dryers
- Protecting pneumatic tools, cylinders, and valves from solids
Coalescing Filters (Oil Removal)
Key Specs
Submicron oil aerosol removal. Coalescing filters force air through a maze of glass fibers that merge tiny oil droplets into larger ones, which then drain out. Industry-leading 99.999%+ oil removal efficiency makes these the standard before any precision or sanitary application.
- 99.999%+ oil aerosol removal efficiency
- Continuously stabilized filter media with outer foam sleeve
- Integrated ECO-DRAIN condensate drain on KB and KE models
Applications
- Automotive paint and finishing lines
- Medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Food and beverage packaging
- Pre-filtration for activated carbon stages
Oil Vapor Adsorbers (Activated Carbon)
Key Specs
The final polishing stage for the most sensitive applications. Activated carbon beds adsorb oil vapor and hydrocarbon odors that pass through coalescing filters in gaseous form. Required wherever taste, smell, or trace hydrocarbons would compromise the end product.
- Removes oil vapor, odors, and gaseous hydrocarbons
- Two-stage carbon matting prevents channeling and particle escape
- Silicone-free versions available for paint and electronics applications
Applications
- Breathing air systems
- Optics and electronics manufacturing
- Pharmaceutical clean rooms
- Food and beverage applications with direct air contact
Not Sure Which Filter You Need?
Filter selection depends on your compressor type, your dryer, your downstream application, and the ISO 8573-1 purity class your industry calls for. Schedule a free site visit, and our team will check out your system, identify the right filtration train, and quote you on a complete package.
